Everyone hates torrents, but what if you were a superhero that stopped them? Well, what if you had your very own spy niece that knew all the secrets of her superhero uncle. She has been made aware of how human beings are spread throughout the world and she knows exactly where to go for information. The only issue is that her last command was to take charge of uploading torrents from now on. What starts as a simple, everyday task quickly turns into an adventure as she discovers who and what everyone is and how these people fit into the society we live in. Raghu, the superhero of this story is a very busy person. He runs a security firm, has his own office in Gurgaon, and always seems to have time for others given his philanthropic nature. What others do not know is that he actually leaves his office at 6 pm everyday to go patrol the city in search of troublemakers. He is soon joined by his super sensitive niece who has started taking notes on everything she observes him doing. Soon, they are both captured by the police following which Raghu has to get bail for them both. His office staff suggest he gets an advocate for the case but instead decides to take some time off work until it is resolved. During this time, he moves into an apartment in Dwarka that happens to be on the same floor as the one his friend lives in. He is also introduced to a new maid who is about to change his life forever... Crazy, but believable! It's quirky and sweet at the same time. The music is new age fusion with some folk thrown in too. The Sonu Nigam-Tulika & Shalmali Kholgade track "Aaj Pehli Baar" was composed by Swaroop Khan of Jal band fame. The music director of this movie is Farhan Ali Agha. The music of this movie is not bad, but it's not like the tracks are particularly good. "Rang de Basanti" by Hasratein was composed by Ila Arun. It's a nice song, but it doesn't stick with you for very long after the movie ends. The performance of Smita Jaykar as his super sensitive niece is superb. She does an excellent job of showing the transition from naïve to ingenious throughoutt he movie, and she has some decent dialogues that help raise the stakes. The other actors perform well too though there is no standout performance among them all. Saurabh Shukla is great as the courtroom crusading advocate. The film is ridiculously unrealistic. For example, the number of people that look alike doing surveillance on Raghu, or how he even has time to put his shirt back on after his fight. It's not like superheros are really believable anyway, but it doesn't make you cringe as much as some movies do (superhero is revealed to be human with some genetic abnormality). Overall, the movie is funny and entertaining. Sure, it has its silly bits which you can't help but laugh at (in a good way), but overall it makes for a great package.
